Our amazing mare Fancy gave birth to a very exciting colt by Nobby, and we call him Sparky! This is the only time these bloodlines have come together! “Sparky” is sired by Nobby and out of Fancy (Rom Baro x Bonnie). Rom Baro had only four foals in the United States and only one full gypsy filly that is homozygous, our Fancy!
Rom Baro passed away in 2007. Bonnie, Fancy’s dam is by Syd’s Good Stallion (deceased) who was one of the finest gypsy stallions. Syd’s Good Stallion sired very few colts so his bloodline is very scarce in the United States.
Because both of his grandsires are deceased, Sparky’s bloodline is very scarce and greatly sought after. We are excited about being the first and only to bring these bloodlines together. This is one of the many reasons that Sparky is so very special.
Not only is Sparky a very friendly boy, he is also exciting to be around. He moves with pizzazz, yet he is also very elegant. Sparky has been handled every single day and is everyone’s favorite to work with. He has incredible charisma about him–no doubt a product of his excellent breeding!
